Rebecca
Corporate Access Originator
I work for a leading Investment Bank in a team called Global Corporate Access, which sits in the Global Markets division. In my role I help to facilitate meetings between global investors and both public and private corporates – I specifically cover the European TMT and Consumer & Retail sectors. I have now been at this firm for over 10 years, and I was fortunate to start my career here after participating in both spring and summer internships while at University.
I did not do a typical Finance degree – instead I studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Bristol – but the Banking industry was always of interest to me. Growing up I was lucky to know a number of people that worked in the City who helped to give me advice during my internships, as well as early on in my career, and still even now! It’s true that you learn a great deal of what you need to know in the job, but getting good advice as you start or navigate your career is also incredibly helpful.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, scuba diving, and have started to learn calligraphy in lockdown!
