Paul
Managing Director
After completing a degree in Genetics from Cardiff University and a PhD from Cambridge University in molecular biology, I found that while I loved working in science, my future wasn’t at the lab bench. This led me to explore other career options and move into scientific communications and marketing. My first commercial role was as a science writer in 2010 and since then I have gone on to become one of the leading life science marketing consultants in the UK. This journey also included starting my own marketing agency, BioStrata, which has grown from 2 to 15 people (and over £1 million a year in revenue) in under 3 years.
Paul can provide advice on making the transition from academia to the commercial world, as well as how to ride the fun but challenging wave that is running a small business.
