Marketing & PR

Curious with a penchant for getting bored easily, I sought a career that would feed my creative interests without having to be a “creative.” My strengths lie in writing & storytelling, organisation, people, creative problem solving and psychology, so I chose to pursue a BA with Honours double majoring in Psychology and Communications Studies at York University in Canada.

My career began as a Media Relations Assistant for an amusement park in Canada, where I worked very closely with music, film, and TV companies. After moving to a sales role, I worked on large deal with a national TV broadcaster and found a love for PR. I chose to go back to school to get post-grad certificates in Marketing Management and Public Relations. I then interned at a top Media & Entertainment company working across TV channels in roles ranging from PR to Marketing, having to be flexible and challenged with projects that continuously change and evolve.

After establishing my role, I chose to leave to pursue my dream of working abroad. I moved from Toronto to London on a Youth visa and I found work in TV Distribution, where I perform PR and Marketing duties to sell TV shows and films to channels and platforms around the world.

I’m always up for a travelling adventure and meeting new people, and I believe that the connections you make are fundamental to your career and the human experience. Feel free to reach out, happy to help.
