Hannah
PR Associate Director
I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2008 with a degree in English Lit and History and not a clue what I wanted to do career wise. Thinking that I liked books, I thought vaguely about publishing but ended up getting an internship at a PR company where I worked in the division that, amongst other clients looked after authors, literary and theatre awards.
Straight from the off I was hooked - I loved the creativity when it came to campaigns, working on something different each day, and the thrill of getting a piece of coverage for a client. I have now been working in PR for over ten years.
After my internship I moved on to the youth and entertainment agency Rare Communications before moving to consumer agency Mischief, where I spent four years. My clients included everything from The Football Association managing their 150th anniversary and The National Trust including the award winning '50 Things To Do Before You are 11 3/4' campaign. I then moved to a large integrated agency called Brands2Life running press office and brand activation campaigns for Match.com, Groupon and Virgin Media amongst others. I now work for creative powerhouse Tin Man, a small independent agency based in Old Street. I love that every day in PR is different and that part of my job is help build emotional connections for brands - whether they are household names or a start up.
