George
Reporter
I'm a reporter at the Financial Times, where I cover the property market. I write news pieces about whats happening in the UK's housing market and longer features, which often have a more international view. I've been at the FT for less than a year, having freelanced as a writer for a few years before that. I don't have a qualification in journalism - I studied politics, philosophy and economics at university.
Before joining the FT, I worked for a charity campaigning for a more responsible investment system, helped write a book about innovation in business and tried (and failed) to set up my own social enterprise.
